The website is not working anymore and the carrier cannot sell\u00a0tickets any longer.<\/p>\n<p>Other Italian carriers such as Alitalia, Meridiana, Livingston and Blue\u00a0Panorama are operating substitute flights but consumers need to buy a new\u00a0ticket if they would like to make use of these flights.<\/p>\n<p>On the website of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority ENAC there are lists\u00a0of substitute flights and some information in English<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a style=\"text-align: justify;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.enac.gov.it\/Canale_di_servizio\/info573961246.html\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.enac.gov.it\/Canale_di_servizio\/info573961246.html<\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>(just updated).<\/p>\n<p>It has been rumored that the airline is already bankrupt but at the moment\u00a0there is officially no bankruptcy procedure in course YET, even though\u00a0there is no question that the company has great financial difficulties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>In fact today the owner of the carrier should communicate his decision\u00a0about creating a newco or being put to extraordinary administration procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, a meeting is foreseen today in the NEB\u2019s premises with all the\u00a0airline companies which are providing substitute transfers to plan the\u00a0flights of September and October.<\/p>\n<p>For the moment, consumers affected by the cancellation can send their\u00a0complaints by registered letter to the address of Wind Jet:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Wind Jet spa<br \/>\nCentro Direzionale Baglio della Sementa &#8211; S.P. 69\/II &#8211; Passo Martino<br \/>\n95121\u00a0CATANIA (CT) &#8211; Italy<\/p>\n<p>It is not advisable to send e-mails to the carrier as they might not be\u00a0read or not even arrive at all.<\/p>\n<p>In the case that further developments will lead to the bankruptcy procedure\u00a0or to an extraordinary administration procedure, our ECC will provide\u00a0information\u00a0about the steps the affected consumers can take.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian airline Windjet stopped the operations on Saturday 11th August\u00a0after the Italian Civil Aviation Authority ENAC (NEB) revoked its operating\u00a0licence.
